Senate Judiciary Committee Approves Bill Protecting Special Counsel
The Senate Judiciary Committee votes 14-7 to approve bipartisan legislation protecting the special counsel, Robert Mueller, from being fired by President Trump. Although the measure is being sent to the floor, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he will not take it up for consideration.
