Watch Montreal Canadiens Alumni vs Greatest Hockey Stars/ La Classique des Étoiles l’Équipeur




Canadiens alumni and the Greatest NHL Stars squared off at “La Classique des Étoiles L’Équipeur”, to benefit Charities.

On Sunday March 24rth I decided to go with my good friend Bryan at the Bell Center in Montreal as we where reminiscing who was the best hockey player in the World, his Answer was it depends which Era, I said Mario Lemieux for his sheer artistry. Well My Opinion lets not forget Wayne Grezky 1016 NHL goals.
Hockey fans where treated with the chance to see some of their favorite players from the 80s and 90s, as La Classique des Étoiles l’Équipeur got underway on the Bell Centre ice in Montreal.

Canadiens Alumni roster includes 




Denis Savard, Vincent Damphousse, Donald Audette, Chris Chelios, Chris Nilan, Guy Carbonneau, Stéphane Richer, Mathieu Dandenault, Steve Shutt, Richard Sévigny, Sergio Momesso and Alex Kovalev. 
The team will be coached by all-time legend Guy Lafleur.





The Greatest Hockey Stars line-up is filled with some of the leading scorers in the NHL through the 80’s and 90’s, including snipers Dino Ciccarelli, Marcel Dionne, Michel Goulet, Bryan Trottier, Glenn Anderson and Peter Stastny. 



Together these six players recorded a total of 5,209 points and scored 2,549 goals during that decade. Not to be outdone, they will be joined by some of the game’s top players from the 90’s with Eric Lindros,Raymond Bourque, Theoren Fleury, Luc Robitaille, Brian Leetch and Valeri Bure whose combined record stands at 1,424 goals and 3,795 points. Netminder Curtis « CuJo » Joseph will be between the pipes for the Greatest Hockey Stars who will be coached by Michel Bergeron and Jacques Demers.




The STAR CLASSIC The ÉQUIPEUR by evenko Productions in collaboration with Marc Verreault allowed young and old to see the work the Canadiens Alumni and greatest players that have marked the National Hockey League. Staff of the Canadian, Gerard Gallant and Scott Mellanby scored two goals each for the formation of stars who won by 8-5.
